SF Muni
Giving back to the community was at the heart of this project. In collaboration with SFMTA and SF Beautiful, Krithika created eight custom art pieces inspired by the poetry of Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
Each piece reflects the distinctive character, history, and spirit of San Francisco, translating Ferlinghetti’s words into vibrant visual narratives. The artworks were displayed across multiple Muni buses throughout the city from January to May 2022, bringing art and poetry into the everyday lives of San Francisco’s communities.
The project became an opportunity to celebrate the city through art while making creativity accessible beyond traditional gallery spaces.
